Palace on Wheels Tariff

The Palace on Wheels tariff is charged as per the occupancy level of the cabins - single, double and double and Super Deluxe(Suite). Each level of occupancy has separate fare for per person per night journey.

Tariff for peak Season ( October 2022 to March 2023 )

Note

Indians / NRI's can pay in equivalent INR (Indian National Rupee) Rupees as per rate of exchange on RBI website.

Terms & Conditions

Children of 5 Yrs & below charged 10% of Adult Cost without bed. At the time of issuance of tickets, age proof certificate of the child/children needs to be furnished.
For children in the age group of 5 to 12 years, half of the journey cost will be charged.
Children of 12 years & above charged adult rates
On total journey price of Palace on Wheels, GST 5% will be applicable.
Commercial tax US$ 15 per person extra as applicable.
The above mentioned tariff is subject to change without a prior notification.

Inclusions / Exclusions The fare covers the following -

Travel, catering, sightseeing trips in air-conditioned coach with services of English Speaking Guide, entrance fee at monuments/parks/palaces, cultural programs, Elephant joy ride in Jaipur, Jungle Safari by Canter in Ranthambore, camel ride at Jaisalmer, boat ride at Udaipur and rickshaw ride at Bharatpur.

The fare doesn't covers the following -

Drinks, tips, laundry, telephone calls, video camera fees, business car facilities, liquor and other items of personal nature.

Booking Policy For the fully independent travelers (FITs)

20% of the tariff at the time of the confirmation of the booking.
Remaining 80% of the tariff needs to be paid 60 days prior to departure.

For group tours

20% of the tariff while confirming the booking.
Remaining 80% of the tariff 75 days prior to the journey.

Cancellation Policy

In case of travelers want to cancel the tour, they need to intimate Palace on Wheels via fax or e-mail. The refund of the money is solely based upon the number of days left for the departure of the train:

For the fully independent travelers (FITs)

In case cancellation is made 60 days prior to departure, 95% of ticket value will be refunded.
In case cancellation is made 30-89 days prior to departure, 80% of the ticket value will be refunded.
If the travelers made the cancellation in less than 30 days before departure, No refund will be provided.

In case of group tours

90% of ticket value will be returned if the tour is cancelled 60 days prior to departure.
0% of the ticket value will be returned in case the cancellation is made 0 to 89 days before departure.
